Nobody is innocent (including me), but the least to be expected was “une prise de conscience”. Lebanese have a very selective memory, to say the least. Shame on all those who clapped and cheered when Kuntar was freed, when Geagea was set loose, when the general returned, when (goatee wearing) Saad spoke; or even when the Iztatz farted. Khalass, this country is doomed (judging by its upcoming generation “propos”and lack of vision). The only salvation (in the very far future) is for my generation to educate their descendents and tell them the gruesome stories they witnessed, lived, and contributed in (at the risk of paying hefty shrink bills).
